I am a tenured Associate Professor of School Psychology in the Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology (EDP) at the University of Kentucky (UK).  I am a Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (Licensure #260982). As a school psychologist employed at a large, land grant university, I conduct research, teach/train/mentor students, and provide service to the local community, university, and profession.

I grew up in Worthington, Ohio and earned a B.A in Psychology and B.F.A. in Dance from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. I then received my M.S. in Applied Educational Psychology and Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I completed my pre-doctoral training through the Tennessee Internship Consortium with a focus on assessment and intervention for children with autism. I worked as a school psychologist in a rural public school district before beginning my career in academia. My primary research interests include the development and validation of academic and behavioral interventions in a school-based setting, particularly using single-case design. I lead the Kentucky Academic and behavioral School-based Prevention and Intervention Research (KASPIR) lab.
