Movies and the Market

We made yet another stop at the Great Market Hall. This time it was only Zoey and me because the kids like to get presents for each other, and Zoey hadn’t yet found presents for Ronin or Willow! The lights were pretty, with snowflakes, light trees, and icicles all throughout the market.

Unfortunately, the item Zoey wanted to buy for Willow was at a store that wasn’t open. And she couldn’t find anything she really wanted to get for Ronin. Instead, we came up with the idea that she will write an IOU card for each of them.

While we were in the Market there was a Hungarian band playing traditional songs. It was great and so festive.

We met JonPaul, Ronin, and Willow at the mall to go see the new Spiderman movie. Tickets for all five of us plus three extra large popcorns was less than $50, which is a steal for a movie theatre in the states! The movie was in English with Hungarian subtitles, so everyone understood the movie. It was fun recognizing some of the words in Hungarian!

I was a little nervous about Willow, but she did great! She got up and danced at some times (she is shorter than the chair and there was no one next to us so it was okay) and clapped and cheered when Spiderman saved the day. Everyone loved the movie, and I highly recommend to anyone, even those who aren’t huge fans.
